For our new classroom theme, we decided to put a spin on an old classic; Titanic combining it with Around the World to create a new journey for our 'Titanic 2' visiting different countries to base our lessons upon.
We all worked together to create a gigantic class display using tissue paper to create a world map. We also made an Iceberg and positioned it between the table names appropriately (County Cork table and New York table where the first Titanic was struck down).
We all used plenty of time, effort, tissue paper, glue and even more tissue paper to create the displays but I think the end product was worth it. The children especially enjoyed watching Mr O'Hare praying for the tissue paper to stay up!:)
