PSNI talk to the Parents about Internet Safety
We had a parental Internet workshop today with our two PSNI officers - Lisa and Alan.
They gave out some excellent advice on how to keep out kids safe online and the potential dangers of games, apps, websites and sharing pictures and personal information.
Thank to those parents who attended and received their certificates.
Here are two websites to use at home with children:
You Tube Kids - YouTube Kids is a video app developed by YouTube. The app provides a version of the service oriented towards children, with curated selections of content, parental control features, and filtering of videos not deemed to be appropriate to the target audience.
Kiddle (Google for Kids!) -Kiddle is a visual search engine for kids, offering safe kids web, image, and video search. Results are vetted by editors.
