Primary 6 does Dragons Den!
Our topic this term is "Young Entrepreneurs." Our children were placed into groups were they had to brainstorm ideas into to be pitched to "The Dragons," in their re-enactment of Dragons Den. The six final ideas which our class came up with were: Beddy Teddy, Ryan's Bookmarks, Wonder Bubbles, Sweet Delight, School Time and Memories.
The idea was that the children in each group had to carry out market research to gather information to improve their product before pitching their ideas to the Dragons. The three Dragons were Mrs McDowell, Therese and Mrs Gilchrist (Mrs Reid's mum). After some consideration the Dragon's chose the winner as ...... Wonder Bubbles.
The Wonder Bubbles pitched their idea of a Car Wash which will take place in April. Each child in the class has a role to conduct for this to be a success. For example, we have five teams within our class which are Marketing team, Finance team, Story telling team, Sales team and Finance team. The date for the "Wonder Bubbles" Car will be confirmed soon. We would ask all parents to attend this as the money raised will be going towards the P6 end of year school trip.
