Primary 5 School Council

Election campaigning for school council begins Monday 16th October. Primary 5 have 18 candidates standing for election and we were delighted to welcome the South Down MLA, Mr Colin McGrath into school to speak to the Primary 5 class today. Mr McGrath shared some campaigning tips with the children and gave advice on how to write an effective speech. This was an invaluable opportunity for our children to learn about politics and democracy. Thank you Mr McGrath for giving up your time for us today.
