P7 Stem challenge

P7 took on a Stem challenge to create a windmill. This is part of their collaborative work with Dream Space at W5. 

Dream Space empowers everyone to see the power of digital technology and STEM in exciting new ways and the crucial role that these areas have now and into the future. Dream Space TV brings students on a learning journey with a focus on computational thinking, creativity & problem-solving. 

The children worked in groups to create a windmill and had to think of different scientific features including forces, energy and materials and in maths shape and space, lines and angles. 

They were very pleased with their finished designs.
