Northern Ireland War Memorial Museum Trip

What a fabulous start to our new topic about ‘World War II’.  Yesterday we went to Belfast to the War Memorial Museum and had a very interesting talk about the events that took place in Belfast during World War II. We found out what life would have been like during the blitz. We decided it would have been very difficult to live with rations and how scary the blackouts must have been. We are very glad we don’t have to live like evacuees today. We look forward to exploring this topic properly after Christmas.
