Maths at work

Today we had special guests who came to school to tell the children how they use Maths in their job.

We were delighted to have;

Simon Flood a pilot

Tom Kelly a joiner

Kerry McIlvenney a nurse. 

They spoke to the children about their jobs and how they use Maths and numbers in their daily lives doing their work. Maths is an important part of a huge range of careers.
