magnetic/ not magnetic stem activity

We found things around our school to sort. We used horseshoe and bar magnets to check which items were magnetic and not- magnetic. We found out that not all metals were magnetic. Our prediction was wrong but we had great fun learning new things. We even investigated the north and south poles of the magnets and realised that the two poles the same couldn't 'stick' together but two opposite poles could. Aren't we very clever???
