Colin the Paramedic Arrives At Legamaddy

The Primary 2 children had the pleasure of meeting Collin Johnston a local Paramedic for the Ambulance Service.

Colin came to school with his ambulance, paramedic bag and a De-Fib. The children loved watching Mrs Rogan and Mrs Teggart get their blood pressure checked.

All the children asked lots of juicy questions and Colin provided us with lots of interesting facts.

We LOVED having a look around his ambulance, learning where all the equipment is kept and what it is used for.

We thought the sirens were very noisy... no wonder they are only used when the traffic is bad.
