P3 Met Karen from the R.S.P.B for a Bird Watch

The Primary Three children were delighted when Karen from the R.S.P.B came to our school on Thursday.
Karen taught us all about different types of birds and wildlife that we can see around our school.

We saw some Blue Tits, Sparrows, Blackbirds, Thrush and House Martins. We also made a hibernation home for our friendly hedgehogs.

In school this week (thanks to Eva Kelly's dad) we painted some bird houses and are going to get Eddie to position these in and around our school.
